This work is an outpouring of feminine rage against a world that teaches us we should not trust our intuition, that we ought to be silenced and ought to be meek. Made during lockdown in 2020, I was experimenting with unusual media such as oil-paint on paper-like textiles to create very unusual marks and textures that are otherwise not possible on cloth.

Haphazard and seemingly random, this work takes its namesake from one of my favourite bands.
