Larger than Life - Arashi Shibori Curtains

The idea of making shibori BIG is very very exciting for me. So I was delighted to be asked to design some curtains. My clients wanted something a bit different, so came to me.

Situated in an open plan kitchen-dining room, this is heart of any home. My work here would set the scene to many an treasured moment, yet to be shared by family and friends.

Using my signature style of super-soft colour fades, we opted for a warm palette of cheery yellow and sociable oranges on a heavy organic linen, and lined with a cotton batiste.

Many thanks to Jokoto Tailoring, who meticulously stitched and pressed these seams to perfection!

Bold yet subtle, this was such an amazing thing to create for the family, and I honestly loved it.

An antique of the future.

Each work is totally unique and impossible to replicate, I can create single one-offs, or we can work to produce a range of textiles that work together.
